I can't seem to copy/paste a file to the same server, different directory, with SmartFTP?
I *know* I have read about this issue, some time back, and right here in this forum. But now I can't seem to locate that thread. I also checked the online knowledgebase and didn't locate anything there, either... IIRC the workar

Default download directory not working as expected This may be the expected behavior of the program, but it differs slightly from what I'm used to in other FTP programs. Or then again, it is ALWAYS possible I'm doing something wrong.
I open a local browser on my computer.
I open a remote browser to the machine I want to transfer from.
I navigate to the LOCAL folder I want the files to

Have write with one directory not another I was attempting to upload a file into a directory but got a "transfer failed" message. Odd thing is I can upload/download to other directories at the same level as this one. Cant upload files on or about August 14th I am unable to upload files. I can download but upload does not work. I upgraded the software the next day still cannot upload files. Please advise on how to resolve this issue. Error message is 550 File or directory not found.

Directories Not Listed When Connected to Remote Server
Able to connect to server: unable I recently installed SmartFTP 4.0.1072.0 Pro (64bit). I am trying to use it now to connect to a third party ftp server. It seems to connect to the server just fine, but it fails to display the directories. This puzzles me since I can connect to the same ftp server using Filezilla just fine. Looks like not uploaded in ascii ??? This is not consistent so I don't know for sure where the problem is.
I'm uploading files from a domain to a new ISP.
In one of the domain directories I had no problem with cgi , I just had to set permissions and it was ok.

Hi everybody,
I downloaded SmartFTP because on the website was written we can delete even non empty folders.
I have a folder in the root of my FTP, inside I have many subfolder. All is empty. I already checked with many software, no .htaccess file no other hidden files, just empty folder as i can see.
